Sweet, sweet baby...

I guess she's not my baby girl anymore :-(

She is growing up so quickly & has a new big-girl haircut that suits her to a T...

I held back these photos from my Apple Picking post because I thought they were too cute to be lumped in with the other 197 in that post...I know it was crazy!

But I thought these pictures capture my sweet Darcy-girl so well...

So funny, always doing things that make us laugh...

So joyful, always singing sweet made-up songs & bringing smiles to our faces...

So Darcy, just as God made her & we are ever thankful for that!

And this is my prayer today for my sweet, sweet Darcy...

Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name; 

       make known among the nations what he has done.

        Sing to him, sing praise to him; 

       tell of all his wonderful acts.

     Glory in his holy name; 

       let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

   Look to the LORD and his strength; 

       seek his face always.

I took these photos of the girls on Sunday afternoon, right after we got home from church. I wanted to get some photos of the girls in their new dresses designed by my sweet and talented friend, Kelli. Being that the dresses are white, I had to do the photos before lunch, but that also meant that the girls were hungry & had short attention spans. But I still managed to catch some cute shots of the girls & the dresses!

Sweet Shot Tuesdays

We just got back from spending a nice week at the lake. It started off with a bang (literally) with fireworks for the 4th and then we let the lazy lake lifestyle take over. Most evenings we would take a boat ride after dinner when the temperature might possibly slink down to 90. If we were lucky!

Some days we tubed & swam & splashed all day, other days this evening ride was our first time out on the water all day. Either way, I never tire of watching the sun set over the water. 

Reminds me of that song from The Sound of Music...

Sweet Shot Tuesdays

I know I posted this photo yesterday in my post on Drew turning 15 months old, but then today I found Darcy's blog life with my 3 boybarians & read about her Sweet Shot Tuesdaya linky party. I'm certainly not a skilled photographer, but she says it is for ALL levels, so I wanted to give it a try! 

I love this photo & how it captures Drew's fun personality. Even though he isn't walking yet, he's going to be zooming on this red Radio Flyer before I know it & I want to remember the days when he was just as excited to crawl up to it & just stand, excited to be playing with one of the big kids' toys!
