Snow Day Redux!

Well wonders will never cease, just a mere 2 weeks since the "big" snow, we were blessed with another Snow Day today! I woke up amazed to see a dusting of white on the ground! Since this snow "storm" was somewhat unexpected, I guess the roads were bad in some areas, so school was canceled for the day. And now here it is just before lunchtime and with the bright sunshine, most of the snow is gone...but it was fun for a little while!

Jack was our first up & at 'em and he lasted out in the back yard playing in the snow for probably an hour! Sophie joined him for about 15 minutes, but as soon as her hands got cold, she was inside clamoring for Hot Chocolate which was promised to her before she even went out! Darcy didn't even want to "suit-up" and go outside, so I guess our big event of the day has really been the hot chocolate! Even now as I sit to write this post, J & S are still sitting at the counter playing "marshmallow bowling" (and I think Darcy is playing with a pair of scissors...I should pause to investigate that! Okay, one pair of scissors confiscated!)
