Brothers

At my baby shower for Drew, a sweet friend gave me an adorable picture frame that she made for me. We knew we were having a boy and, of course after two girls, Jack was SO excited to be getting a brother! On the frame my friend put the Scripture, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." I have had a cute snapshot of Jack & Drew in it from when Drew was a newborn, but he's gotten so big that I needed to update the picture. I had a couple of minutes on Sunday afternoon & was able to snap these photos of the brothers. Can't wait to print one out & put it in the frame!

And it is my prayer that the boys would "sharpen" one another, encourage one another, hold one another accountable to the Word of God. Jack is already a great big brother playing with Drew, making silly faces & cheering up Drew when he is fussy. Even though they are 7 years apart, I pray that they will always be close friends who look out for one another.

I love these pics of my grandsons. They are precious. I like that they both are wearing light blue. It will be hard to decide which pic to choose for the frame.

You have been redecorating! I like your new header. Zachary will be 13next month, and Jacob will be 7 in April, so they have almost 6.5 years between them. They have a great relationship!!! I love seeing them be bear cubs together. Zac is so good with his little brother and takes great care of him, and Jacob really looks up to his big brother. I am sure your boys will be just as close! I love that verse for their frame. And these photos are adorable! Blessings!!

I love the pictures, what a great idea. I think my favorite is the last one, since it is such a great close up. Your boys are so handsome.

I echo your prayer, Melanie! Jack is so very sweet and always looking out for the younger guys in his class...Tyler absolutely looks up to him. I'm sure thats how it'll be w/Drew too! Love the pics!
