Christmas Reflections (VERY picture heavy!!!)

Well, I had intended this to be a Wordless Wednesday post, but it is neither wordless nor Wednesday (it's just past midnight!), so I will just call it our Christmas Wrap-up! Here are some scenes from our Christmas celebrations! We have been enjoying a lazy week post-Christmas...just enjoying our new toys & extra time at home with one another.

Candlelight Christmas Eve service at church...breath-taking!
Singing Silent Night, Holy Night with nearly 5,000 candles lighting the sanctuary!

For the second year in a row, Jack played  the part of Joseph during the silent nativity
while the Christmas story was read from the Bible.

Singing Silent Night, Holy night...reflecting on God's amazing love!
Sophie was asked to fill in as Mary during the second service!
She took her role very seriously & did a GREAT job!

Christmas Morning!

Tennis anyone?

Snuggles with Uncle Pete, he just arrived on Christmas Eve & the kids are all estatic!

Drew's 1st Christmas!

Jesus is BORN!

Putting Baby Jesus into the Nativity.

Singing Happy Birthday Jesus!

Getting the stockings from by the chimney!
Drew watches the fun with Grandpa!

Attempts at a "Christmas Morning" photo of the kids!
Can you tell Darcy has already been eating the chocolate from her stocking?

Playing with new bilibo toys, lots of creative fun!
Sophie loves her Strawberry Shortcake doll from Uncle Pete!
Darcy hard at work unwrapping!

Can you tell that Jack loves football?

Darcy & her new Tinkerbell doll from Uncle Pete! He was 2 for 2 in the doll department!

Jack helping Drew with a present!

Of course, Drew's favorite part of the day...the wrapping paper!
Christmas Day feast prepared by Jeff's mom! No one went home hungry!
Drew looking forward to eating lunch, too!
More presents & unwrapping!

More paper for Drew!

Girls enjoying Darcy's new mini-trampoline!

From oldest to youngest, a joyful Merry Christmas was had by all!

We are thankful for a wonderful Christmastime & are looking forward to a New Year spent celebrating Jesus every day!

Great pics! One question...do you always get all dressed up and pretty on Christmas morning? My pics all have me looking like death warmed over! Notice...no posts of early morning Christmas on my blog! :-) Ha ha!
Where did you get the mini trampoline? I have been looking for one for AGES!!!

What a fun Christmas! How special to have your children in the nativity. I loved when all 3 of my kids got to do that a few years ago. Wonderful memories!!! I pray you have a wonderful 2010. Blessings!!!

Love all the photos, but the ones of Sophie and Jack as Mary and Joseph have got to be my favorites. They are so sweet!
