By the Numbers

325...photos just downloaded from our week plus at the lake...actually, I'm rather shocked that the number is so low. But we did have rain nearly every day, so we spent a lot of time indoors...and it is increasingly tricky to get a good shot of the kids out on the tube while ensuring that no one falls off the boat! Rest assured though, as soon as I have a chance to edit all of the photos & select the best ones...I'll probably narrow it down to about 300 and share all of those with you in another post...meanwhile here are a just a few...

4...months ago today, our sweet, SWEET baby girl Lucy came into this world & has charmed us every day with her preciousness! She really is the best.baby.ever! She is loving her lay-n-play & will bat at the toys & giggle so playfully! And when she's done, she will just roll on her side & take a little snooze...seriously, she was so sweet this week at the lake! She rolled over for the first time this week from back to tummy, but she still doesn't like being on her tummy very much. She goes tomorrow for her well-check appointment so I will have all of the details on her height & weight later in the week...but one thing is for sure, her cuteness is off the charts!!

30...about how many days I am behind on blogging about all of our summer fun. With a week of (wonderful, fun, amazing, exhausting) VBS back-to-back with a wi-fi-less week at the lake, well there hasn't been a whole lot of bloggin' goin' on over here. Hey, here's a quick pic of my dear hubby in his role as Crash, the jet-pilot for the daily VBS drama.

I know, right...you never imagined that Jeff would have a flair for theatrics, but it turns out he's pretty darn good. We were all very proud of him & he had a lot of fun, too! More photos of the VBS drama to come...

1 million four hundred and thirty seven and counting...popsicles consumed by my kids (I may have had a few, too) so far this summer...and this week is looking like a record breaker with the heat...wonder how many more we will consume this summer?

2...minutes until Jeff starts watching the new episode of The Closer without me...and I still have a watermelon to cut up...so this post officially ends...now!
