Well, summer is zooming past at an alarming pace & I find myself, once again, lagging behind on the ol' blog posts. My mind is filled with ideas & clever posts, but somewhere between mind & making it happen I seem to run into a snag. So I'm going to try at least to catch up bit by bit with some Summer Means posts...photo intensive with captions to take a quick look at what we've been up to (because I know you are going crazy sitting around just wondering!) This will be similar to my Summer Picture Series last year...but those I wrote in, like, September & October (I know!) so I am hoping to stay a bit more ahead of the game this year...we will see!

Jeff plays in our church league once a week...
And we all go to the games to watch (i.e. socialize & let the kids play with the bazillion other kids there!)
The games are usually around dinnertime, so I will often pack dinner & then afterwards we will go out for ice cream!

Summer Means swinging...
After running into a snag putting in a rope swing, (Literally, Jeff snagged the rope waaaaay up in the tree & had to use a huge extension ladder & then climb the tree to untangle the mess...talk about Mama being nervous!) Jeff finally was able to put up the rope swing the kids have been asking for for ages!
