The girls & I were so blessed this weekend to be invited to a very sweet Princess Tea Party hosted by some of Sophie's sweet friends at their aunt's lovely home. It was delightful to get dressed up in pretty clothes & spend a few hours sipping on yummy teas & enjoying all kinds of wonderfully yummy treats!
A table full of treats!
Heavenly & light meringue Kisses!
The girls right after we arrived at the party and, yes, Darcy had already found the chocolate!
I think the girls are celebrating such a bounty of delightful treats!
Darcy kept asking whose birthday it was & when we were going to sing "Happy Birthday!"
Lovely tables set for tea!
All of the princesses at the party!
The girls checking out all of that fantastic food!
All the girls with the sweetest hostess Mrs. Kennie
Serving the tea
Sophie enjoying her sweet treats!
Darcy focused intently on the Petit Fours
I think Darcy would like to live here!
On Saturday evening, my parents were gracious enough to watch the kids to allow Jeff & I an early Valentine's Dinner out.
Me & MY Valentine!
The kids played cards..
made messes...
looked cute...
danced to The Lawrence Welk Show...
and looked cute some more...
We are hoping to move into our renovated house this weekend, so our actual Valentine's Day will be spent unpacking...I say hoping because the progress this week was slower than we would have liked to see...and there are still several details that need to come together. Needless to say, we are packing this house up...so I should wrap this post up & get back to packing! You never realize how MUCH stuff you have until you have to move it all! Hopefully we can pare down & get rid of some items & not move a bunch of stuff that we don't use!
I may not be blogging much this week, but I will try to post some updated photos of the renovations...I've taken lots of pictures over the last several weeks that I'd like to share!

First of all, that is a great picture of you & Jeff.
Second of all, I would have LOVED to have gone to a tea party like that when I was the girls' age. Everything looks so beautiful - including the girls.
Third of all, Scott & I moved into our house last Valentine's Day. Good luck with the move - I will be thinking of you.
