Well, it's been a wonderful & busy weekend! Thanksgiving was great (I'll post pics later of the wonderful leaf pile the cousins made for jumping!) Then Friday we went to pick out our tree & started decorating the house! It has been fun & work! We still have a lot to do outside, but the inside is looking pretty festive! Jack's birthday (#7!!) is tomorrow (today!), so we also have to prepare for that...though we are keeping it low-key this year.
Anyway, here are just a few pics of what we worked on tonight...I'm so excited for Christmas!!!
(I think the mantle looks better in person than it comes across in the photos...or maybe I need to do some tweaking! But I must give props where they are due because my dear hubby Jeff really did a lot of the work putting the mantle together. Thanks honey!)
