Pre-Thanksgiving Fun

So tonight we started what is hopefully a new pre-Thanksgiving tradition...Can you guess what we did?
Yup, you guessed it! We went bowling! It was a lot of fun and not very crowded since I'm sure a lot of people are traveling for the holiday. It was our first time taking Jack & Sophie bowling and they had a lot of fun!
Here the kids are getting a quick tutorial from Jeff...

And ready to bowl!

Here's Jack's first roll...

And the grin afterwards!

Sophie's first roll...

she was quite excited!

Here is Sophie's second roll...notice the excellent technique!

Darcy wasn't sure what all the fuss was about...

But she got her turn, too! (With the aid of a nifty little bowling-ball ramp! Sophie used that quite a bit, too.)

Jeff in action...

(Although I must add that I rolled the best in our group tonight with a score of 109! Not my personal best, but not bad for the first time in MANY years!)

High-fives for a job well done!

We finished off the evening with some bowling-alley food for dinner and a few games in the arcade.

All in all, a great family outing & hopefully a new pre-Thanksgiving tradition! Although hopefully we won't wait that long to go bowling again!
