Snapshots from a Saturday

Well, I am technically a little past midnight, but since I haven't gone to bed yet, I still consider this today! We had another wonderful, busy Saturday, although I spent most of the day doing & only snapped a few pictures along the way.
We started out the day on the ball fields as usual...

 Lucy looked so cute in her hat, Drew found Darcy's hat in my bag & wanted to give it a try!

Then a special treat for the older 3, they got to go home from the game with Pop & Nana! 

Drew was a little bummed, but he got to ride in Daddy's, so all was good!

We brought Drew & Lucy home for lunch & naps...although Drew got up from his nap 3 times & I gave up! Jeff & I used the afternoon to work on some projects around the house. Jeff installed new shelves in the girls closet (yay, I love home improvement!) and I continued working in the garage...sifting, sorting, organizing & getting rid of stuff! 

Sweet Lucy girl was a peach & after a good lunch, she took a nice, long nap!

Around 5 pm it was crunch time with the big kids arriving back home & Jeff & I trying to get everyone bathed & fed before our date night out. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner group evening at a friend's house with several great couples from our Sunday school class. It was so much fun, the food was wonderful & I laughed so hard my sides hurt. We are so grateful to my parents for babysitting all 5 kids, so that we could enjoy a fun evening out! Now I need to get to bed! Night-night!
