For the third year running, this summer we were blessed to get together with my dad's extended family for a little reunion. Last year we enjoyed having everyone down to the lake for the day. This year my dear cousin, Susan, & her great husband, Ben, graciously opened their home & welcomed us all for lunch one Saturday in August. They live an hour or two away from us, so we don't get to see them as frequently as we'd like, but it's close enough for a nice day trip. Having extended family nearby is such a blessing. I am so thankful that my aunts/uncles & cousins are all such wonderful people who are a pleasure to spend time with. And our kids LOVE playing with their second cousins...just take a look!

We enjoyed our day with family & cousins SO much! We are already looking forward to a reunion again next year...although I sure hope we will have the opportunity to get-together with everyone before then!
